listed for Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

However, we recommend that candidates search for open RN positions and apply early.

Yes, candidates may apply to any specialty units of interest.
There may not always be positions available for every specialty. Applicants are welcome to
apply to other positions of interest that are available. We recommend visiting our careers
website often, as new positions can become available at anytime
RN licensure in not needed to apply. However, proof of Michigan RN licensure needs to be
submitted and received within enough time to process prior to the Residency Program start.
Graduate nurses who’ve obtained licensure and are hired for an RN position prior to a
Residency Program start are automatically enrolled in our Pediatric Nurse Residency Program.
Nurses are scheduled for 36-40 hours per week. They will work various shifts.
Work schedules are created by the nurse’s unit of hire for the first few months. While we
try to provide balanced schedules, they can vary and may be demanding at times.
